Dell M1330 Second MotherBoard

Just had my GPU fail on my Laptop and Have to get the MObo Replaced.. that is the second time it is having to be done anyone else struggling with the 8400 series nvidia gfx cards ?

My M1330 still fine after 2 years, but plenty of people had trouble. What may have saved mine is doing the copper mod immediately.

Seems obvious the problem is overheating and i'm guessing all the bios update does is run the fan more...
Maybe undervolting might get it to run cooler
