Dell Notebook AC Adapter

Hi all,

My Dell Latitude D830 power adapter she is not working. Anyone know of a place in Sandton/Midrand area that sells these, as Dell will take too long to deliver.

Pinnacle and Drive Control stock some of the Dell range, maybe they have spare power adapters as well? (need a dealer account of course)

I was quite surprised myself, that's why I started looking for suppliers to outright buy one

Not fair my Dell was two weeks old when my adapter went "poof" they wouldn't replace without sending it away first.......

If it's out of warrany, just get a compatible adapter from HiFi Corruption.

Within warranty costs one single phonecall to get it repaced within 1 business day!

I had a sh*tty dell but fortunately with 3yr nbd warranty. Must have replaced the power brick at least 5 times... Unfortunately the battery is about the only thing that doesn't fall under warranty and the bad connection with the power brick pretty much killed it.

According to Dell sales when I eventually got hold of them TechExpress is the guys you need to contact for Dell parts. However, I bought I standard 65W PSU directly from them some two years ago for R80, now you have to buy it from a third party for about R300... perhaps my first purchase was an accident
