Dell plans late-2012 consumer tablet launch

Dell Inc intends to launch its first consumer tablet computer in late 2012, marking its entry into a hotly contested and increasingly crowded arena that has already claimed arch-foe Hewlett Packard.

Yea but can they compete?

I don't know if Dell can compete in the tablet marketplace. It is certainly going to be difficult for them. I mean, hp is already kind've established and they seem to be doing good but there are already a ton of other companies also doing well and competing (acer, asus, toshiba, etc). Im not saying Dell wont put out good products but they are going to have a tough time jumping in to the game late. Who knows, maybe they will even create the best android tablet

I'm still not really seeing any change in dells performance at this point. At this point, i would advocate the asus transformer prime tablet for users willing to pay more than $100 for an above average tablet. I've got a good asus tablet review that looks at the transformer prime tablet in depth and doesn't just talk about the positives of this tablet. People fall in to hype way too much!:wtf:
