Demerit System

What exactly is the status of this. So many websites etc and nothing tells me whats happening.. everything claims against each other and nothing correlates.

They're unhappy they way it is rushed. They claim there hasn't been any training nor materials for the traffic departments! They want to avoid the problems that JHB experience(d).

I Have seen posters around Joburg lately with something about the demerit system but can't read them.

I Suspect it's in the not-too-distant future.
There was something on Carte Blache about it a week ago...

The biggest stink is that you can sell a demerit to someone else, i can see that becoming a major issue!

I think mandatory car insurance will be a great thing for this country! Far too many uninsured people on our roads!!!
