demo phone models success/fail

I bought a refurbished Nexus 4 from Orange store, have not had a single issue with the phone. Maybe rather look at that than a demo.
 
More often than not, demo phones are display phones. Ie, taken out of its box just to show customers. So its not too bad. If you get your normal guarantee/warrantee then its okay .

from what i understand,

demo phone,is like what is at the stores and where people use them to see how it preform for themselfs

and a display phone,is taken out of the box and put in a case ,just for looking only
 
I have been buying demo phones for the past 5 years, i have never had an issue, they are literally as good as brand new. The seller who was TechTrader provided me with a warranty and guarantee for 6 months with each phone although i never had an issue.
The phone didn't seem to be a demo that was sitting in a store instead the box had been opened which they said the manufacturers warranty was void and they would cover the warranty instead.
All the accessories were with the phones. Price was amazing i paid R1800 less than retail at the time for a Samsung Galaxy S5, huge saving, i would definitely recommend buying demo.
