Dentist & medical aid

I thought most extractions were done in the chair under local.

I was awake when they took out my wisdom tooth. The woman was using her knee and pushing against the chair until i heard this massive cracking noise in my skull.

So i went yesterday. It was the tooth i had a root canal on a few years ago that broke. I didn't even need an injection for them to do a filling. Was still super scary though

No injection on a filling? mm thats odd usually they do that so they clean out any dead crap and fill it properly.

Didn't hurt at all. Doctor said because of the root canal, I don't have nerves connected to that tooth anymore so no need for injection

Maybe she opted not to?

I went for years without any injections when doing teeth work, including fillings (with drilling) after a very bad experience as a child.

Ah okay that makes sense then, forgot the root canal part.

You're braver than me lol.

Oh don't worry it was stupid and ultimately way more painful than it needs to be...and when you actually feel that drill it's a whole different ballgame, especially the rougher one.

But sometimes it's mind over matter.
