Dentist over Christmas

My daughter (8) has started complaining about bad toothache. The problem is that we have tried about 20 places and can't find any dentists open and who have spaces. The only one that was open is booked solid and wouldn't even look to tell us if it is a problem or not. I have a couple of questions:

1) Is this something that we can wait until after Christmas?
2) Does anyone know a good Dentist who is open in Jhb over the Christmas period?

If it gets totally out of hand you could try the emergency room, they usually have dentists on call.

Buy "naeltjieolie" and apply onto the aching tooth until a dentist can fix it.

Best bet is a couple of painkillers unfortunately.

Clover oil (naeltjieolie) will work, but its pretty weak.

Ran into the same problem. Had an abcess that started bleeding heavily on Sunday evening (didn't even know I had one till then), earliest appointment I've been able to find is Friday - and the ER at the local hospital doesn't have dentists on call (But did prescribe antibiotics and painkillers as a temporary measure). Sucky.

Not sure how far you willing to drive. Try intercare in parkview mall, pta. Also centurion mall, pta.
