Note: the group will only become a Destiny 2 clan when it goes live on PC.

Clans will be an important part of D2 with clan loot, guided games and clan progression to mention a few benefits. D2's hybrid p2p network will hopefully mean good things for local matchmaking.

Anyway, iv'e amended my initial post inviting other D2 groups/clans out there to post so people looking for an SA Clan have somewhere to start before launch.
 
What class and subclass are people planning on maining?

After watching gameplay vids from the recent console beta's iv'e got my eyes on either a Voidwalker Lock or a Sentinel Titan.

I'll wait for reviews before I decide. But if it looks good I'll definitely get it (and join the MyBB clan you're making).
We already have one for D3, we might just be able to expand it to this as well...
 
Played some last night. It was really, really fun. Gameplay was super smooth on high settings (2560x1440 res). I'm definitely buying this.

Agreed, i have a GTX 1070 OC and didn't expect to be able to play D2 in 4k with any real eye candy turned on but was able to with High settings at 60+ fps so the game seems very well optimised. Also tested it on a 7870 at 1080p and gameplay was smooth.

Some info on latency & matchmaking:

Couldn't see actual latency but didn't notice any lag whatsoever and i can confirm matchmaking started grouping players from similar regions, once the open beta dropped i was getting grouped with other SA players in the crucible - was still getting players from the EU region but i imagine this will get better once the game launches and there is a larger player base is our region.

Seems like they have added a couple of exotic quests which I think is quite awesome for them folks who have bad luck with RNG. Trying to stay away from YouTube and such but I failed. I honestly cannot wait anymore.
