The initial contract period is for Off-Site work.
ie, you do not have to relocate for this period and can work form home etc

Once the contract is either renewed or the position is converted to a full-time position salary / benefit adjustments as well as relocation packages will be discussed with the asset.

What's your company's name and where are u located?
Your email address doesn't give much confidence.

Good luck finding guys with salaries like that.

CTC: ZAR 3 000 – 5 000 per month :wtf:

Company Name is Kryptek - We are an intermediary recruiter for this specific project
The gmail account is due to the fact that Email accounts listed on the internet are frequently spammed incessantly, therefore using an generic mail host such as Gmail simplifies the reception of applicants without placing additional strain on internal mail servers.

Kryptek is a company based in Port Elizbeth and so is the client we are working with.

Those salaries are way below market for short term contracting positions (any experienced senior dev will not fall for the "possibility" of a future permanent position).

+1 to that, I'm a developer and I don't even have "Senior" in my title. I wouldn't move for that kind of money.

Contract work is usually more money than permanent?

I think your clients are optimistic with their requirements.

So Krypytek in total you are looking to spend a maximum of R135K (~$13500) over 3 months for an app/apps? Do yourselves a favor and outsource the initial work on eLance or something.

With $4500 per month, you can get a decent team. However, be warned to expect below average code which you may need to re-factor sooner, rather than later. If you have a Dev Guy/Technical QA leading the project - you could force vendors to improve quality before accepting it in Milestones.

Or work through a Project Management entity here in SA. Your usual local agencies could work with your budget and come close to producing the results you are after. Just make sure you know your scope! (KEY!) Software is the quickest way to burn money if you are indecisive!

With that said, all the best - just remember; if you pay peanuts, expect monkeys ;)

EDIT: As far the GMail use goes, sounds like well packaged BS. If your hosting provider struggles to handle basic email for any reason - time to consider migrating.

With that Salary you wont even find a guy with 1 year experience to take those jobs haha

Kryptek is unfortunately taking the wrap for its client's silly requirements.

But Kryptek - advise your client that this will not work. You need R500 000, not R135 000.

Offer more, get the best developers you can and have your app completed in 2 months. You really think having a developer willing to accept R3000 PM is going to have any impact on your application development process?

If Kryptek is a recruiter, they should have the skills to advise properly ahead of advertising.

I doubt you will find 5 years experience going for that salary.

this, my first thought. Thats the salary people earn with no xp at all. I thought 5 years xp is more around 30k pm to be more realistic

RPM - You need a recruitment template same as classifieds, these 1 post wonders with no info are useless
