Taking back

If you wanted to
Say you wanted to
If you wanted to save the world
Where could you start? How could you start?
If you wanted to feel like I feel...like I feel, oh

You're running dry
I'm flying high
We're running on feel

You wanted to be
What you've never been before
We worked hard for a living
We worked hard for it all
You run and hide,
Don't run and hide
I'm starting to feel OK
But I'm wasted
And I'm failing
Oh, Tracy please
Can't you see?
It's just me
I wanted to feel
What I've never felt before
I was tired of the living
I was tired of it all
Time, time...it's only...time
If we wanted to
Say we wanted to
If we wanted to save our world
I'm waiting here, waiting
Waiting here baby, please
Stay with me
We wanted to be
What we've never been before
But are we tired of the living?
Are we tired of the war?

So they say
You'll be ok
But words are not enough
Nobody remembered me
The words were not enough
Calm yourself down
Don't you remember when we were young?
Don't you remember who I am? You're strong enough!
Dues to pay
Towards the way
Towards my friend, towards
Two must play
The foolish game
To war my friend, to war!
So they rise: The 'fear and pain, ' but this isn't how I am
Don't you forget that you are loved!
Don't you forget that you are them
It's hard enough
Remember the flame in your heart burns strong
Remember and the spirit will collide
Remember! Together!
Remember in the end that death is not the end...
So we rise!
Receive the pain, but this isn't where this ends...
Don't you forget that you are perfect
Don't you forget just who we are
We're strong enough!
Wherever the flame in your heart burns strong
We may not be brave so let's start
Remember and the spirits will collide!
Remember! Together!
Remember! Together!
Remember! Together!
Remember! Together!

It's like a mix of Tool and A Perfect Circle.
Pretty cool.
Thanks for sharing.
I'm finding it more a mix of Pink Floyd and metal :D

Especially what I'm listening to now (Bastard)

I watch what my ears are subjected to :p
I'm a nu-metal junky - when I decide to listen to the genre. There isn't a better experience than cranking up Disturbed through my headphones. :)

Yes, there is.
Disturbed live in concert.

Haha. Yes, that would be better.
The only live concert I've been to was when Saron Gas converted to Seether.
They brought Evanescence along, when the Seether front man and her were in a relationship.
She only did one song, but the party was cool.
This was many moons ago and I was a naughty youngster.

Deep Peace [Terria]

It's alright to cry
It's alright to lean on everyone
It's alright to lie in the bed you've made for everyone
And anytime you need someone,
Anytime you heed someone
Anytime you need me babe, I will be there.
It's alright to die
It's alright to bleed on everyone
It's alright this time
It's all life, you learn from everyone
With every single time you go
...And every single line you blow
Anytime you need it man, I won't be there
It's all going away now
...All going away now
Going, going...gone
Going, going...gone
It's alright to cry
It's alright to feed on everyone
It's alright to hide,
In your cozy bed from everyone
So anytime you need it man,
Get inside and be it man...
Anytime you call,
Suffer!!!

mmmm.
I went to an Evanescence gig in London, where Seether were the opening act.
She came on to sing Broken... Goosebumps.

What I like about her is that her sound and vocals are the same live and in the studio.
I've heard and seen some really bad live performances by other artists in many genres. I cringe when I experience this. (seeing, in my case, TV, internet etc.)

Goddamn, so good!

Lyrics:
My life is all that I've known
And it's all that keeps me here
My time is all that I own
So I won't let it slip away...
How long can this life go on
Who we are what we are...
I'll see you on the other side
Wouldn't you rather live it on your own
Even when it bends you over
So when it comes time to go home
You don't let them fade away...
How long can this all go on?
How long till it's over?
And how long till it all comes down?
...And how bad do we need a new reminder?
