DFA announces more upgrades to improve network reliability

Maziv-owned Dark Fibre Africa (DFA) has announced two infrastructure upgrades to improve network stability in dense areas, accelerate the delivery of new services, and future-proof its network for scale and sustainable growth.

The projects will build on a R400-million fibre network expansion announced in August 2023.

I don't know about anyone else but the appearance is that DFA who was one of the best Fibre providers with great repair and turnaround times is now one of the worst. I can no longer justify the huge disparity in cost between the likes of Openserve and DFA as openserve aslctually repairs and provides a better after sales service as a FTTH SP as opposed to DFA as a FTTB SP.

Most recently had a customer cancel on me because DFA could not get a tech out to change a ONT in 2 weeks, apparently due to resource issues and a strike.
