yes I know... another Diablo 3 thread

remember a while back everyone was on about the cartoon graphics, and I remember posting saying that its not that bad...

I literally just went through about 100 screenies...

it IS that bad...

im a diablo 1 & 2 fan... **** I feel depressed!

The gameplay vids look good, but when I saw that one vid where they introduce some of the monsters I was a bit bummed.

Also sad to see that the musician from D1+2 is not involved, that really bugs me.

The gameplay still looks awesome, but it doesn't feel the same.

Looks awesome!! JUST BE PATIENT..dont judge by a still image, because the environments are dynamic..constantly flowing light sources etc. Just look at the monk video..tell me that wind blowing threw the desert doesn't do it for you :)

Before diablo 2 came out many people where worried that they would not have the same "feeling" diablo 1 did..and guess what..now we wait for diablo 3 with just as much "fear".. worried whether it will live up to its predecessor.
It will and it wont..because we can never go back to that time , those moments, looking for Charsi's hammer in the engulfing darkness, any sound causing us to ready our fingers to click that mouse button, any reflection of light from an enemy either meaning our doom or our next level up :) Good times, amazing times! But past experiences.
I imagine the guys smoking weed will get the most out of diablo 3 haha ;)

Pls pls pls Blizzard..last character..make it a hunter/ranger something cool plllllllllllllllllzzzzzzzzzzzzz

BTW diablo 2 patch 1.13 will probably be available by december.. and it brings respeccing and a whole bunch of goodies for us to enjoy..although i dont know..everytime i try to play d2 now i just give up! =(

Looks much better than titan quest could ever dream of looking..and im sure your character will move much more fluidly than "tit an quest"
 
It looks good man. What is your problem. Are you wearing those 3D glasses or something because its really REALLY not bad.

Like Brookelle said its a still image. STILL IMAGE.

yeah it actually does do it for me... but then the monk started fighting micky mouse in slomo action... :sick:

dude I dont have a problem, Im just sharing my thoughts... which are clearly shared by other people :D

I never said it looked bad... its just drifted from the roots!

edit: ok I DID say it looks bad... haha! But you guys know what I mean... I just mean its different from what it was :)

Diablo 3 is going to feel and look rather dated by the time it actually comes out....I am not sure what blizzard are smoking.

Yeah look they will obviously move with the times and have a new system...

I can gaurantee you 100% it won't just be click-click-click again :)
