Diablo II: Resurrected

I bought the Prime Evil pack which recently, which contains this and D3 complete edition. Tried out D3 while waiting for the D2R Patch 2.4 to land.

I must say, D3 has some really good things about it. I like the way the combat and skills feel. I like that they got rid of scrolls and potions. It feels a bit like WoW mixed with D2, but that's okay. I don't find it too cartoony. It reminds me a bit of Torchlight.

What I dislike about it is that you can't really "build" a character. You can switch skills and equipment at any time. So there is no long term decision making.

D2R - I'll wait for the patch, and then I want to see if I can ask someone to rush me through Normal difficulty. I have just played it too many times. I want all the shiny equipment that you can find in D2, but I don't want to spend 3000 hours playing to find it.

Also it really could use some QoL improvements, like a bigger inventory and stackable gems and runes. Quivers and bolts should be unlimited and allowed to be magical and rare, like javelins.

I know everyone is worried about what the purists think - eff the purists if you ask me.
