No they wouldn’t because a good broker wouldn’t have you calling a call centre.
You’ll have an email on record.
And a real contract. Instead of one delivered after the fact by an automated email not.
Nobody came out to me either. They sent me a list of inventory to complete and then did an overestimation on that.
The bottom line is that a good broker knows the industry whereas with a direct insurer you are dealing with a call centre agent using a script not a true insurance professional.
Sure you get crappy brokers too. But you are infinitely more likely to get a crappy call centre agent.
And then it’s a lucky draw when you call again. I however always deal with the same people at my broker.
