Dial-Up Internet – far from dead

Most dial-up users could move over to cellphone access and save a packet - get a Gmail account and get rid of spam
 
I live in Muizenberg, and I've fought for over a year to get Telkom to install ADSL at my house. My exchange is ADSL enabled, but Telkom has given me 3 different excuses, and stopped responding to my complaints on HelloPeter.com.

None of the wireless options is available in my area either.

Dialup is not an option... it's the only thing available :-(

Does Muizenberg not have cellular coverage from Vodacom or MTN or CellC?
