No, I don't where you get that idea from. Point being, the longer a person that is not too bright stays in politics the more time they have to screw up. Ask Bush, the same can happen to Obama.

Nah, Obama may have made a load of rubbish promises which he has failed to deliver on and hasn't been even close to as inspiring as his initial campaign promised but he is nowhere near the league of Bush. Bush pretty much destroyed global confidence and relations of America with other countries and that was just one his many mistakes. Obama inherited a deeply sick country so not everything happening to them is his fault, that said he still has failed to deliver and for that there is little excuse.
 
I made a couple of comments yesterday, and then was away until now - I cannot believe the cr@p that some people spout.

If you are prepared to say that Obama is dumb then you shouldn't actually be making any comments on this thread at all.
Obama has been recognised as one of the MOST intelligent men to ever hold this office.

Bush on the other hand has been recognised as possibly the dumbest President ever. To compare the two of them simply shows that you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

I wonder why you think this? Could you perhaps demonstrate why it is indeed a fact that Obama actually has an intelligence above your average US President. I haven't actually seen any of these comparisons of US president intelligence. Going by his performance though, one cannot expect it to be too much better than Bush.

I wasn't talking about comparing him to the average US President, just your comparison that you can't expect his intelligence to be that much better than Bush II. That's nonsense.

If he is that intelligent, then fat lot of good it has done him. Why hasn't he brought about the change that he promised he would before entering office? Either he failed to recognise how difficult it would actually be before entering office, or after entering office he did not actually have the means or the skill to bring about the change. Either way, he has pretty much failed. That doesn't bode well for his intelligence levels.
 
Looking around the net - it would apper that Dubya didn't quite make it to 3 figures on the IQ scale - varying between 91 and 98 depending on what you read......

Found this on Obama, however:

He is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he served as editor, and later as president of the Harvard Law Review; which is an extremely prestigious position. Obama also taught at the University of Chicago for over 10 years, a top-ranked university in the United States.

As in real life, I don't think a person's level of intelligence is necessarily going to correlate with their success or lack thereof.

However, anyone who thinks that Obama doesn't intellectually kick the stuffing out of Bush's vagina has to be drunk...
