Did SABC 3 get clearer?

So I was channel flicking the other day (we have aerial and DSTV) and i noticed SABC was completely detuned as if SABC moved it to another UHF channel (note SABC 3 looked horrible and the signal bar on my Sony Bravia was always half way) then the next day i scanned and i found SABC 3, wow it was super clear and the signal bar was at 3/4.


Did this only happen to me?

Depends of the transmitter. All the SABC channels and E-TV are crystal clear at home. Our complex has good cabling/shielding and antenna's I guess.

SABC 1/2/3 are very good but ETV is horrific.

They have updated their gear for the digital migration, I saw the picture quality improved a while ago.

Its more about picture clarity then signal quality.
