Anyone know of a decent place that refurbishes diesel injectors in the Cape Town area? Preferably the Northern Suburbs. I have two BMW 320D injectors that needs to be done.

Hope its not too pricey.... My brother paid R12k for 4 new ones in his D4D and a buddy of mine paid R60k for 5 new ones in his TD5. Pricey seem to vary between expensive and insane.

12k seems about right, in fact it is cheap because Toyota normally charges about 7K

60k? You sure you didn't mean 6 or 16?

Found a place that will refurbish mine for about R1.5k each.

Nope, R12k per injector for the TD5... Guess that's why they are back to the old 4-cyl diesel now.

Somebody got butt raped. Should be more like R6k I think. You can import them for R4k (excl duty/vat) and that includes the sensor.

I think he had the whole thing done at Rover Land, bill came to R60k so that should include labour. D4D injectors on the other hand are about R2k but with labour it costs you R12k to replace them all.

I don't care about labour, changing injectors is not a big job, he got a decent rim job, hopefully he enjoyed it.

In 2008 I price injectors for my Nissan 3.0tDi. R16k for the 4. Found a Nissan agent in Australia who had the same part, genuine, for the equivalent of about R4k.

Turned out it wasnt my injectors that were the problem but if ever I need new injectors Im ordering in from overseas......

Give me the the last 7 figures of your VIN number (will be on your licence disk and the first 2 will be letters and the rest numbers) then I can look up the Bosch part number for the injectors on our Bosch system,I will then give you the Bosch part number, then you can phone Diesel Electric (Parow, Cape Town (021) 911 0131). :)

Thanks! ;)

Can anyone tell me, is there a major difference between the Freelander TD4's injectors and the 320d's injectors?

Seems like some freelanders & BMWs share the same bosch part numbers for injectors.

I'm currently running two of my car's normal injectors, and two TD4 injectors while the others are in for refurbishing/repairs. Although it is smooth, the car is sluggish as hell, and thirsty as fukc! 10k per liter town driving
