Difference between Vodafone Dashboard versions

Good Day all, I have an interesting issue that I am battling with.

When using version 6.?? of the Vodafone dashboard I get download speeds of +- 50kbps.
When using a different version of the software (ver. 7 and 9), I can only download at 10 - 15kbps.

I have also noticed a 3G+ in the bottom left of the dash screen after about 20sec from connecting with ver. 7 and 9 of the software.

Hardware:
HP 6710b, WinXP SP2
Huawei E620
APN: internetVPN (I use the same APN for all the different versions and have tried internet)
Connection set to 3G only

Any help will be appreciated.

Using version 6, 7 and 9 respectively, go to speed.vodacom.co.za and do speed tests and post the results here.

This will give you an actual indication of your current download and upload speeds.
