I am sure my Kuga is fwd 100% of the time since I doubt I get any wheelspin where I drive. Is it true the power is only transferred to the back wheels when wheel spin is detected on the front wheels?
I want to put specific brand tires on my car. They are not made in the size that are currently on the car. I have now 235/55/R17 and want to go to 235/50/R17. My front tires are like new so I would not like to waste them. Therefore I only want to buy a set of two tires till the current pair wears out. Will driving my car with the different sized tires cause any damage, seeing the car is a fwd almost 100% of the time?
I will not try to drive up a mountain covered in snow with these mismatched tires.
