Digichilli and BCS Net Billing?

For the guys on Digichilli, has anythong been billed R240 through BCS Net?

I checked my internet banking last night and had a unknown R240 deduction. Called up FNB and they said it was from BCS Net. Now this is funny cos I'd never heard of them before. Did a bit of research and I see they're linked to Digichilli.

I did subscribe to Digichilli in December, but canceled it the same day (with their Cool Down feature) and since then I never had any sort of response from Digichilli etc.

Anyone else had this? I'm pretty pissed about the money.
 
Well , when i paid (immediate deduction when you sign up) via credit card it showed under my uncleared effects as:

"Zevoli 158 (Pty) Ltd TJohannesburg" .

After it cleared it became

"CANCOM JOHANNESBURG ZA"


So, as you can see neither of those have DigiChilli in their names, so BCS is probalby also just the escrow/clearance provider. You will have to wait till it clears and see, but again, only way i knew who it was is by looking at the amount.

I don't think pressing the "cool down" option will mean an auto-refund, i think that just stops your subscription. You most likely need to email them.

I had to mail them quite a few times to get a refund, they never actually responded to my emails (as in "we hear you, we will refund you in x-days") . I just one day got a refund tax certificate in my email and that was that. So i'm not sure whether my emailing or phoning or "cooling down" did the trick, but i suggest you don't assume it will happen automatically .

Anyway the refund also went down as CANCOM and it was about 2 weeks after i started requesting a refund.

I think the missing part in their payment system is the fact that you never receive a "Thank you for your payment, we have deducted Rx from your account. Payment will show as [name] on your account" email. You never really know "did i sign up now or what" ?

Did you pay via debit order or credit card?
I actually cannot remember, but since it came off my Smart Account it must have been debit.

CAlled Digichilli now asking the problem and the woman that answered didn't know a thing that was going wrong, and began arguing with me about my login details. I explained everything to her, but her only solution was to e-mail accounts (which I did yesterday). I told her as well that if accounts doesn't get back to me I will be laying a case of fraud against Digichilli.
 
I've called Digichilli 3 times now and the woman that answers never wants to put me through to anyone. She keeps telling me I have to e-mail them. It's becoming annoying. I'll call them again at 3pm and if she still won't put me through then all hell will break loose.
 
I am officially fed up with Digichilli! It has been 12 days since the first deduction, and STILL I have not received a refund for it and Digichilli has debited a second amount.

At present I'm speaking to someone named Andre, but the matter doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I've been promise a refund over and over.

What can I do about this? They're cleanly morons.
