Yeah i doubt it is, must be something to do with passive mode and correct port forwarding. From some people i get maxed out speeds, but from others i get bytes

Rebooted my router last night but could'nt authenticate due to PAP errors.
Tried for 1 hour to connect but still couldn't ...
 
Last night I could get everyone's file lists easily enough.. but when it came to actually downloading anything it would just go into this weird loop and not actually get anything...
 
I've been disconnected since yesterday cause I did a reinstall on the box. Will hook up and hash today, then share over the weekend. Hopefully we can get better speeds.

I has that problem too, filelist downloads quick, i start download and just hangs,
 
We setup an IRC server.

UnrealIRC server and a copy of anope services for the server - tiz a 3 meg download I think or last I read.

Lots of walkthroughts on the NET to get it up and going.

Then we direct DC to each other via IRC client, eg. Mirc. ... but it might be the same as last nite.
 
That should be able to work.... THen you would make a direct connection to the server serving the files so it would be able to be hosted on a slow line(384). give it a bash and let us know...
 
I will give it a try this evening (if I can connect ) got a a lot to share.
 
Yeah common we must try and get it working properly.
Benefits us all if we get it going.
 
No experiment for me ... reckon my ID has been revoked.
