There are none. Teranews is free, but you can't get any connections on it. Only 500 available globally... so that's a dead end.

News servers aren't expensive though.... $7 a month....

The last decent server was cheapernews, but you have to pay now. Don't know of any others. Other than Teranews but they only allow 50MB a day (if I remember correctly). lolz.

1 3/4 hours and the test accounts are finished... :D

Then they are sold... :whistle::D
 
Things have been great and consistent for the last 3 days on my end (32-40kB on Int HTTP downloads which I trust a bit more than any "speedtest") even in regards to msn and ftp finally logging in and working properly.

One probably irrelevant question though.......as Dave once mentioned (waaay back) they were having troubles with certain IP ranges I'm wondering what range most of the people with issues are on? .65.xx and perfect here.

Otherwise I really do wonder what is causing the inconsistency between users.

Still cannot get into Secondlife. Loads very fast and the login goes fast, but still hangs when "connecting to region", around the middle of login.
 
G.A.W.D I haven't been able to use my dc for any downloading for the past week!

WTF is wrong with dc, sent them several e-mails no reply?

Could not connect to my account the entire day! I essentially overpaid for a glorified local account with no support! Sigh.
