DigiChilli January Status and feedback

I get about +- 3GB a day so far. Have done 35GB this month on a 384 line. But it is not very stable. Think I will quit DC the end of the month.
 
Ok.

This is ****ing ridiculous.

As far as I'm aware, Digichilli now owes me more money than the R240 I paid for this month.

I've had to spend money on extra bandwidth so that my WoW account doesn't go to waste.

And now, I've had to change my Steam passwords (virus emergency), but I've had to purchase extra bandwidth to do this, as I can't even log in.

ANd now, I can't even get onto www.msn.com?

****ing faggotory.

I emailed them on the 20th asking for my money back. Still no reply.

Yip left downloads running las night woke at 5:30am to reset the DC connection to continue and hello all downloads stopped :confused:

Something actually just sparked inside my wee brain now. Wasn't/isn't Telkom doing cable repairs on the 22nd/23rd? and then again on the 29th? I'm sure I saw that somewhere around here.... :)

You actually through that post gave me an idea for DC. When things are actaully working (soon I hope) Prehaps the could come out with a gaming only package for R150 - would clean house, no?

It would look something like:

Unlimited gaming bandwith
Local and International.
Full line speed.
Maybe even access to steam.
And whatever else ya need that for gaming :)

I'm sure it's possibe? Can't they make a portal from their mainsite (or make a DC gaming site) in which you could connect through to online games such as WoW, Aion, um and others (whoops seems I show my noobness in online gamin hehe) Anyway isn't that at all possible? :confused:

Now I think I should go wake up :erm:

Browsing good (have to refresh occasionally on int. sites but that is probably because of the broken cables)
Http Downloads: Single thread not good around 5kB/s. Multi thread not tried recently.
Torrents, still as dead as always.
Edit: Browsing gone to hell now. Have to refresh local sites a couple of times before they load, and int. completely dead.

HTTP single thread: 5.28kB/s max
HTTP multi thread: 40kB/s dunno how I managed that :wtf:

Yesterday I managed 3.3GB's and so far 53.7GB's total for the month, not so bad, but I hate that everyone else isn't getting the same :mad:

PRETTY LAME...

Since Thursday my connection speed has dropped drastically 2 days now, cant even open web pages...torrents speed/lack there of 0.1-3kB/s, Even MyBB webpage loads 40min to display SOME of the content...:wtf:

Restarted reset modem/router 4x
Rebooted x5
Spoke to GOD x3
Spoke to the Devil x4


Still nothing...I hope they sort out their crap soon this is getting #%@^
I mean if pages dont even load then there is a big problem...

Who has the latest update from DC...their site is useless

Then read up on the the last few posts I've made.

Thank telkom for half the sh*t DC has been blamed for.

Secondlife has flowed well for a week now. telkom was the one to crash me often, the last week.

Now excuse me, I have some more non stop gaming to do on my 1st ever uncapped account, which only cost me R240... :D

Steam STILL WON"T LOG IN

And WoW is STILL not even remotely playable.
 
DC will fix it. They don't hate you.

They want to make their service work well.

They fixed the Secondlife issues. They will fix the issues you have.

They are removing shapers and letting clients do their own shaping/priorities for what they download.

By end Jan, I feel they will have a service that kicks *ss. It kicks *ss for most already.
 
What they are implementing is no shaping but just 256k speed. So you can download torrents at 32kb/s but then nothing else will work. You get 32k a second to use how you want.

Can you imagine DC trying to do this, I think their systems would crash, lol. Then you would get low latency 20% of the time and the rest you're ping would prolly be like 6000.
