Sent mail to support, some people have better results than others, lets see if they can fix MY isssues for ME.

Will post results and responces from the support team. Holding Thumbs
 
I just pm Dave directly on here, and more often than not he comes through
 
Torrents are @ 0,5 - 4KBps
Intl/Local browsing fine.
Funny...I can stream a Hungarian Radio Station...Roxy FM...with no delay at all.

Stream quality is 128kbps.
 
There is a major problem with the torrents. As someone mentioned before, us DigiChilli users cannot get any decent throughput on torrents unless another DigiChilli user is also downloading that same torrent. I have been downloading a torrent at 25 to 28KB/s on my 384k line with 3 other DigiChilli peers and now that there is only 1 DigiChilli peer left, that very same torrent is crawling.

EDIT: Another DigiChilli peer logged on and suddenly the torrent is going at 20+KB/s

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing.....

Would be nice to be able to get 30kb/s on a torrent actually.
 
Steam is averaging 13kB/s (d/l from international server) and has peaked at 38kB/s
International torrents are not lifting above 1.1kB/s
Local torrents are cooking but only in the DC network. On other networks it behaves the same as international torrents.
FTP to ftp.games.saix.net (using 4 threads on GetRight) gives 1.0kB/s per thread for a total of between 3.1 and 4.0kB/s
GTalk is connected via the web browser and other clients (Pidgin and Digsby)
Skype seems OK
Web pages are loading fairly quick, much better than last night at least.

Definitely seems better than when I tested at 6:30 ...
 
just wanna say,i signed up woth digichille begin of decmeber,JUSt for casual browsing.and it has been horrible,did +- 6 gigs in this month.So i got 6gigs @ R300.

today browsings *seems* useable.but skype do not connect.and ftp is completely dead.local or int.logs in fine.but when downloads starts,it dies...def shsaped to hell and gone.to me ftp is critical.

anyone else got same?
 
I am still getting disconnected every 6 hours. Torrents are also crawling at around 3kB/s.
 
How long will a person pay for a non-working service? I think I am going to start selling Virtual 4096 Uncapped accounts. I will even assign usernames and passwords. You will be able to log in using my radius server, but will not be able to do anything. Of course I will receive complaints, but I will get rid of them by blaming 'teething problems' or making up a new excuse everyday.

Damn, this is going to be profitable!
 
... i am connecting but no browsing no local no international ...no http ftp nuthing torents +-1kb

but i guess i should say gr8 serves if my con does not work

so gr8 job dc
 
How is everyting this morning? ... not too good from what I can gather.

Can assure you this much ... when the service was working it was awesome and we had tons of fun with it ....

I still cannot authenticate, I email Dave as he requested, will see if he can resolve my issue. I am still on my saix account.

I've been getting up to 35KBps on torrents. The last day has been down to 10-20KBps though, and some torrents don't work at all (and are finished when I wake up).

My Youtube vids are going at 3-7KBps each, so I grab a few at a time to maximise speeds on them.
Gtalk is finally working for me :)
But FTP is still stuck at 1KBps.
 
Browsing (international and local) is good
Gtalk is connected and working
MSN is connected and working
Will test Skype voice chat later
Torrents are still dead
That is what I have done today so far
 
DigiChilli still has a lot to do if they wanna get their service to how it was and how it should be. Thats just my opinion.

Wish them all the luck though.
 
Got all excited just now when steam logged in and let me actually connect to a TF2 server. Unfortunately that's where it ended. The latency reported fine when looking at the server list but as soon as I got in game it started fluctuating between 60-800. Immediately returned to the server tab to see if maybe someone else was using the net and lagging me, but the latency once again reported stable after multiple refreshes.

Totally confused here.

Also, I'm struggling to receive mail using POP3.

I haven't had a torrent go above 1kb/s for over a week now, bar 30 minutes on Friday when everything shot up to 50kb/s and then back to 1kb/s.

The fact that users experiences while using DC are so vastly different from day to day, makes me think DC has more users than they can handle.
 
Oh, i can average 20-30kb/s on torrents (if i have ALOT of them running), but I'm thinking on a single torrent.

I hop over to my Afrihost account and most torrents come in at 100-150kb/s, just want DC to let me get about 30kb/s on a single torrent then the service will be well worth it in my opinion.
