No problem. :) The are are still issues and I'm sure they will be resolved. Secondlife still does not work.

I use the 10.0.0.2 login and when rebooting, DC seems to not work/authenticate. I log in and simply click the test button and then it works.

Gimmeh your account kkthxbai ^_^

whatever they did or are busy doing is not fixing anything. I'm starting to lose my faith in DC. We are not even getting the minimum of 256 kbps. last time I did the tests I only got 0.11 mbps which to me means 110 kbps. Get it right guys and keep it there please. I would love to stay with DC.

It's flowing. I can only imagine that downloads that are unsupervised have stopped at the reset, which allows this speed increase to continue this long.

...And now it starts dropping again...

Lightscribe, seriously, if i was a heay user, i'd have gotten 50GB by now.

Getting 1GB out of DC is a miracle...

Don't label me.

And besides, are you getting 112kb? coz i'm not... 5kb if i'm lucky.

Thanks, but I have done all that. Also, my SAIX account works, damn I only have 50MB left on my 1GB saix. I hope Dave comes thru...

Oh well.

Let's hope they sort it out.

I don't mind paying R240 a month but i need some sort of time frame as to when this will be sorted. Right now i am getting 1 good day fortnightly and updates that seriously do not help me in anyway what so ever.

Afrihost is still lightning.

Night kids.

Lightscribe, perhaps i read wrong, my apologies if i made a mistake.

this is such lames ness lets get to 200 pages and then copy all of them and send DAVE an email and then fill up his email address hahaha

Speed Test — About Speed
Here's some information to help you understand your results.

Upload
Upload is the measure of how fast content is delivered from your computer or local area network to others on the Internet.

For businesses or power-users, download and upload speed should match or at least be very close. This is important for applications like VoIP, on-line gaming and other interactive programs. Upload speed is even more important if you are operating a server at your location. If achieving optimal upload speed is a concern, consider Ethernet, T1 or SDSL services.

http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/moreinfo.php

Perhaps the only solution is for every client to give their specs, as to what they need to do on their uncapped service, as Dave mentioned, for them to make it work better.

Those that do not, may run the risk of being allocated undesireable settings, for the percentages of specific protocol priority.

simple error 404 can u believe it, so yeah either DC dropping packets or UDP ports the problem. but also looks like something to do with voice and the voice servers have nothing to to with Linden Labs and Second Life servers.
