Why are we being limited at HALF our GURANTEED minimum?

Its a simple question, I would like a simple answer. My bandwidth meter shows a perfect table mountain at 128kb/s

Just a technical question: Are you getting kilobits per second or kiloBytes per second? Lots of people refer to kb as KiloBytes.





I'm getting 30-35KBps on my torrents, so I don't suppose I can complain about that.
FTP is still useless and this is an important business-use protocol for me.
Skype currently still has a very high delay.... sometimes the messages go through quickly, other times it takes a few hours...
Gtalk.... well we don't talk about Gtalk here.
 
Everyone, remember that the fault is mostly upstream.

Let DC/BCS smack some heads, because I see this as an issue where the BCS to London/London to BCS part of the service is the packet loss problem.

Ran a test every 10 minutes whilst sleeping. No change.

Will reboot the router and pc and post results.
 
My connection sucks now.
Local yes. Intl slow.

oh well, another 4 days for them to convince me that it is worth subscribing for Jan.
 
I have a 512k line, and i'm only getting between 5 - 10kb/s on my torrentz. Browsing sucks.

Can;t connect to online games, can't connect to HTTPS sites. They fix it then its broken a day later. Its pathetic
 
I was gettin confident when things started coming right the other day, and now its gone to **** again.

I don't have any faith at the moment in anything coming right before january
