Unbelievable. Since the 9th, I think I did about 3GB and other people are doing 30GB? I am slowly starting to regret getting this account.

Yes, wish I had waited for them to sort their network out... My mistake in thinking that companies can deliver their products on launch

can't download from rapid share,megaupload,hotfile or any of the other http ones......except media fire....all the rest don't even start or time out ......

Things do seem a bit smoother..

After reading these, I thought I'd try again, and nope; still comes across as worse for me.

EDIT: Okay, browsing is worse and horribly slow, but I am getting a 30KB/s average on an HTTP download from Rapidshare.

EDIT2: It's now yo-yo'ing between 10-20KB/s :/

International still seems not 100%. Gmail keeps on trying to download something. International HTTP also slow, so also international torrents.

The shaper is in line now. We've turned all protocols on the routers off so that we can track the shaper's effect. I.e. basically totally ushaped for a while as we start putting the 'shaping' in.

Not being an ass at all - I appreciate he is working his backside off, but this is no way to run a business where people are charged for a service only some receive.

Digichilli isnt a measure of how hard people work, it about a service people are not receiving.

I get what thedoc! is saying - when you go to a restaurant and order a steak, you don't expect to wait for the chef to chisel a knife to kill the cow that your meat is coming from.

But, well done to Dave and his crew for taking a bit of a knock, dealing with the setbacks as they have happened and keeping with it.

Hopefully this is the last hurdle to smooth sailing!

As long as the communication keeps coming from their side it should be good!
(I know my mood improves a bit every time I read a DigiChilli update - even if it isn't the best of news)

Give us a shout if you need a hand if it is the netenforcer, I have been working with them for some years now and have them (a few) in situ in our setups in Africa and Asia.

Edit - haven't worked with Packteers for years - and with the changes they have undergone lately will not be able to help...

Cool. Appreciate it. We're building shaping from scratch. It may be useful for a default ISP setting. I'm once removed so will have to check on that statement tho.
