Also, be very careful when threatening a company.... it can turn out very nasty for you.

but if your password changed how could you still authenticate? Perhaps our issues are not as similar as once thought.
So, an email from DC this morning:
Hi Guys
If you're receiving this email, Sysadmin calls you educators. I call you innovators. We'd like to still call you users.
This is a group email to all users who have currently been banned by our sysadmin.
The sysadmin has reported repeated violations in terms of our AUP from these accounts. These take the form of attempts to bypass any and all throttling and shaping as well as accounting.
Further to that, certain individuals have maliciously tried to flood the network as well as using other methods of access that have an effect of compromising the network.
Please check the AUP which is on our site and attached. Please check 3. and 9.6, 9.7.
I am waiting for our legal department to come back iro further actions.
If you feel that you have been incorrectly suspended, please respond to myself and our legal department at legal (at) digichilli (dot) com and we will review your response. If you do not respond within 5 days your account will remain suspended.
You either know what you are doing and have now been smacked. Or you're 1 in a thousand and we want to know what you're doing that everyone else isn't.

i am only downloading, doing nothing strange, using a downloadmanger standard options, no changes, how can i manipulate the network?
To me it seems like you are guilty of something because you're not even saying you're innocent and you're not even going to contact DigiChilli on a private level.
I think you're taking things a bit too far, threatening with legal action when you're the one who's probably at fault.

Oh dear. Making threats is never a good idea. Why don't you just count to 1549873254 and then try again.
They making excuses... Apparently they have stopped the network abuse now but it still doesn't work... Still want to know why they couldn't just limit everyone to minimum speeds and no bursting. Surely, you can't be called an abuser if you are using the minimum stated speeds.

if i am banned, i do not understand, i use IDM to download of rapidshare paid account, i do not think that that is breaking any rules, if so, i would gladly have "limit" my download speeds myself.
