Hi all

does anyone here know who to contact at DP to get things done. my order has been stuffed from day 1.

Who is their MD, you got telephone number or email.

Iam telling your these guys are too sleg to sell toilet paper, let alone Digital Products.

I need to speak to someone in charge.
 
PLEASE everyone, NEVER buy anything from Digital Planet!!!! Tell you friends and loved ones!!

Dude you're telling us nothing new, Digital Planet has bad service without exception, I honestly haven't spoken to a real person that hasn't had a bad experience with them.
 
I am going to watch this tread cause I have some e-Bucks I wana spend at Digital Planet. There isn't another place to buy PC hardware with e-Bucks than Digital planet as far as I know?
 
Call and ask to speak to the MD. Tell they you calling from the SARS, they will put your through. LOL.

Let me tell you my sad story which was too big to fit on www.hellopeter.co.za

Started order parts to make up a pc.

Day 1 - I get a email saying the processors AMD Athlon 4000 is End Of Life (SURE IT IS - Wonder if Amd know this). Anyways phone them spoke to helpful guy called Renier (best person I think works there) and orgainsed a Amd Athlon 4400 for the same price WHICH IS IN STOCK in their warehouse. SWEET happys days. Day 2 - WTF DP has refunded R 270 ebucks what for???? Send a email to [email protected] and get a email from Ornella stating it was a refund for the processor cause it was End Of Life - No ja lekker ORNELLA IF DP ARE SELLING PROCESSORS FOR R270, I WILL BUY 10. Did my own maths and found out that they Double Taxed me and it was a refund (GUYS CHECK THE TAX AT CHECKOUT - ITS STILL HAPPENING). Anyways Next day recieve part of my order the memory and psu. Well done DP Where O Where is my processor which is in stock. Phoned a couple of hundred times then bang last friday, Renier says my order hs been sent PROCESSOR AND ALL. Hmmmm waited 5 days for their overnight delivery to arrive (loadshedding must have f*cked their clocks up) and guess what no processor. Well I should have expected that the only item which was in stock would not be delivered. Phoned DP about 20 times today and nobody wants to speak to me. Seems as if when I phone a light goes off in the customer service places and everyone leaves. Finally spoke to Alwyn, he says yeah the processor is still with them and looking very pretty on their shelves. But if they send it off today I will have it tomorrow. Being the untrusty prick that I am I phone back and speak to Natasha (Supervisor) and you got to love her comment. She was unable to confirm anything about my order or when I will have processor. I mean I paid for it 3 weeks ago, the item being in stock should have been delivered within 48hours. No but we got to follow a process according to Natasha, and the person who is holding up the process is out of the office. Well I am happy for him, but I am processorless.

DP WHERE IS MY PROCESSOR.

Sad Story done. Guys moral of this story is never ever ever buy from these guys. I thought Kalahari sucked (1st pc I ordered was cancelled by these pricks), but DP takes the cake.

I really dont know how ebucks can associate themselves with such a crappy company.
 
I still don't understand why people still use DP... I thought everyone knew by now that they suck.

I stopped using them 3 years ago when they messed up my first order, back then they were already useless.
 
Rather save the eBucks for flowers for a yearly event. The eBucks are pretty much useless, but not as bad as DP. Ordered 2 items from them more than a year ago. I got the headphones but the mouse was shoved on back order without my consent and removed from their product lists. Still waitig for them to send it, about time I start complaining again.

I think a new digital supplier ( online ) is required DP Bleh\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\;
 
If you must spend your ebucks, do not use DP but rather buy LOTTO tickets.

Your chances are better to get something that way! :)
 
Thanx guys. I will NOT buy from them if that is how their service is.:mad: I'm gona check Kalahari out hope they aren't too expensive. :p
