I can't seem to find them under the beneficiaries etc of FNB ... how do I pay?

Yea I just thought maybe someone here could help ... my first payment and I thought I could load it like a credit card, but I guess I'll need to phone them :)

You should be able to load them as a Beneficiary like a metro bill etc using your account number as a ref.

Of course. Wasn't meant as criticism. More of a personal reaction to these type of problem...phoning either the private banker/call center is usually step 1 for me.

The question I think is load them as what? Clearly OP doesn't have a bank a/c number.

Yea - usually when you load an ABSA, FNB etc account, when you search you get the card - and account number as a ref.

But there is no Diners ... thought perhaps they had another company or something I should look for

They told me they are a linked beneficiary ie: you specify the institution and your account as a referance. You don't need a acc number or bank details.

Whoops - my bad ... it does exist.

Sorry!

Sure...OP states that he can't find them though. The linked beneficiary is per bank - i.e. Just because its linked for one bank, doesn't mean its linked for all.

@OP Interest on those card is still 14% right?

I dunno ... I only got it a few weeks back.

She said it was a charge card and not a credit card. In other words, I pay what I swipe for at the end and there's no minimum portion. She also mentioned a shadow limit - but they've just said there's no such thing and it's a standard credit card limit.

You mean you actually got to use it? Most establishments refuse to accept Dinners Club due to the high commission they charge.

I tried it at Keg to check ... and it worked :P

Only if you don't settle in full by the due date.
