Thanks. Using a native resolution of an 18. 5" LCD at work, so their scaling seems to be for full HD resolutions only. Shoddy development.

Large South African web developing companies unfortunately do not have the skills and experience to build proper websites. The majority of these companies probably heard about the term 'responsive', but they have absolutely no idea how to implement it.

Unfortunately true that the people who do have the skills are the single small developers working for themselves.

I blame them hiring grads out of varsity that while they have a "degree" don't know anything about it/have real life experience/not willing to learn because they already feel entitled as they have a piece of paper that says so

Any business that hires based on degrees and not xp is always gonna be shoddy

They completely missed like every step in the system analysis, design, testing, etc, if they even did it....

Seems they threw together a half assed site hoping their store name is good enough to capture market.

I'm glad I could entertain you. Did you even open the site and see what I was referring to? It really has no relevance to anything they are selling or to their brand.

The developers of the site and those at DionWired that approved the site clearly do not have iPads. What a mess. Unforgivable for a tech product vendor.

how is it rendering on safari? i'm not noticing anything untowards on firefox on my note 8.

All I saw was bricks, if you followed the thread. It's a difference if bricks were followed with people and gadgets etc. Then it changes the game/psychological impact of it. If you create a store and just plaster it (excuse the the pun) with bricks then it's quite lame and puts me off from shopping/supporting them. It's just lame and wrong.

They actually have that specific TV on display at the Kolonnade branch. Looks nice but at some point I really have to wonder whether it would't work better to just use a projector rather than a 300 grand tv

I totally agree with you.

In IT, I will pick a person with experience over any person with a qualification, especially when it comes to coding.
