Hi

We've recently migrated from from a trouble free unix box to a windows server environment (kicks self repeatedly)

We're using thin clients through a dedicated windows Terminal sever (2003)

problem is these bloody things logout repeatedly after 10-15 minutes of inactivity.

How does one disable this irritating "Feature".

Thanks

below text nicked from somewher eelse:

We set it by user in Active Directory Users and Computers. Go to the properties of the user, then click the Sessions tab and set the inactivity timeout to whatever you want.

You can also go to Start - Programs - Administrative Tools - Terminal Services Configuration. Right Click on the RDP Connection and go to the sessions tab. That will create server wide settings and you can choose to over ride individual user settings.
