Some years ago I created a Dischem online profile linked to one of my email accounts. Dischem requires the inputting of an SA ID number, so fine I did that. This month I created a new profile and perhaps I used a different email account and Dischem would not allow me to create a profile claiming they'd be contacting me. Anyway their support contacted me saying I now have two profiles and they need a copy of my ID to fix this. Of course I'm not going to send them my ID so I told them to escalate this. Anyhow, what happened to account recovery by email or SMS? It seems that Dischem doesn't employ that sort of thing. I can do without an online Dischem profile, just that they had certain items which their walk in stores don't stock. That's OK, Clicks has them. 
Anyway, imagine asking for a copy of an ID to verify a duplicate account instead of sending a password recovery token to the earlier email address.
