Disconnects

Hey Guys

Need to know what the issue might be.

Im getting at least 2 or 3 disconnects in an hour, modem lights go red. Then im having to put off the modem, and its okay for a while, and then repeat.

Is this the sign of a line issue, modem issue, or something else? I tried factory resetting the modem, but no luck.

I had the same issue a month or so ago. Had to get Telkom techies out here. Problem solved but I can't say what caused it. They did however also change the filter thingy
 
Maybe post your line stats? It'll give a better indication of what might be wrong.
 
What modem ?

Not familiar with that make, but with T-link I can see from the logs if it's line related.
I got another modem today, which is a TP link, so will plug in later, configure and recheck the stats and will post.
 
wow, dont know if this TP Link is on steroids lol, but pages are opening super fast :D
 
Be sure everything you have is set to use the 5GHz band as well.
Only my phone really that connects to the 5Ghz. Laptop only seems to pick up 2.4ghz which is fine is suppose, as my media player is using cable. So my phone and the wifes phone is on 5ghz
