Discovery Active Rewards worth it?

Not currently with Discovery in any way - new policy coming into effect shortly. Either Old Mutual or Discovery. Same end value, same monthly cost.

Question is - are Discovery Active Rewards actually worthwhile if you're not in the Discovery Ecosystem? We may be switching to Discovery Insure (http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/801389-Discovery-vs-FNB-Insurance) so perhaps that makes a difference.

If you mean the Vitality Active rewards, then yes. I achieve my goal every week, and so do my friends linked to my account. So I get 2 free Vida's every week (R50), and 8 every month (R200) - that alone covers my Vitality fee. In addition, my gym membership is 100% off if I achieve all 4 goals in the month.

So in the end, I'm only paying for my medical aid.

Yes, I get one reward pretty much every week.
And all the other vitality benefits (if you are active) are definitely worth it!
