The email told her that she will receive a new card and that she needs to download the banking app and login. I've downloaded the app for her but she hasn't gone through the login process yet.

Received invite to join a couple of months ago as part of the early on-board process.

Had a spare Samsung j1 mini. The app just crashed all the time. I see it is now not supported.

Both my wife and I have cheap cell phones and I have therefore been unable to register. There is a requirement to take a pic of ID docs, yet the app does not want to take the picture. I presume it is as a result of a lack of an autofocus feature on the camera.

There is also no option to upload the docs which is either a short-sighted decision or an effective way to ensure that only your more well-to-do clients apply. (That last comment was a joke, lol).

Agreed. I was actually super excited to join last year when they announced. I currently have a Discovery Card, so once I'm allowed to join I'll let them switch over the credit card but I'm definitely not making them my primary bank...they'll have to prove themselves first.

Sign up looks like your standard application for a credit card.

Wanted gross income, personal details, a selfie, work information, verify phone & email. And delivery details.

It took about 10 min before I could login to the banking app.

They’ve already removed my card details from the other Discovery app.

Thanks for the printscreen.I cant really see any drawcard from the above than an enhanced functions on discovery credit card.FNB and Discovery still need to bang heads as discovery will need to ditch them someday

I would assume that’s got to do with Vitality Money, which I haven’t signed up for yet.

Does it give you an option to sign up for vitality money.
So the monthly fee is R75 , then more depending on the account type.
