Ah ok, thx. I don't have Drive - it's too expensive and I don't have a full suite.
 
Has anyone else noticed that miles for spend has become less lately ? I had a transaction of R400 2 days ago where I only received 4 base miles. Another one where I’ve spend R45 and it says no earn.

two weeks ago however I received 10 miles for a spend of R208.

nothing has changed with regards to my money status though.

Sounds like you've reached your spend threshold for the month (R25,000 for black, R15,000 for silver and R10,000 for gold).

Thanks that makes total sense when I think about it, total spend has been significantly higher than normal.

Don’t know what it is. But I’m sure they will announce something soon. They usually do this at their start of their financial year.

I’m contemplating moving from the gold suite to the platinum suite mainly for cashback on healthy food.

However technically I don’t qualify due to my salary being less than the amount required. I know I can just state it higher than is. Do I need to provide proof for points ?

The move won’t be great if I lose diamond status though, due to not being able to prove my income at said level.

any advice from someone who did the same ?

Also to keep in mind, if you move up, you need more funds in a Discovery Savings Account. On Platinum it is R45k, otherwise you'll lose your diamond status.
