I currently have savings with ABSA ,can't I upload proof of that to discovery to get the points?

So it says you can’t get points for savings with other Banks

I don't think the Discovery Bank app "developers" realise that if you don't have Google Chrome on your android phone, the app crashes on sign up. Almost all the reviews are about crashing on sign up.

I gave up on worrying about discovery they don't want to allow new users or maybe I'm just unlucky

Try again. I just read an article from Business Insider saying that they are welcoming new clients. Might work, might not. A lot of local journalists misquote.

To put it brief: I reckon they would prefer to hold onto your savings as they can make money off of that interest etc. Which is why they are unlikely to encourage you to hold savings at another bank.

Edit my healthy living and fuel cash back went up by 0.5% ,but I think to get this higher I need to spend more on my credit card which I dont

Anyone seen anything about when they plan on offering asset finance (Home and Car loans)?
Cannot find anything online anywhere except that they said they won't be doing this at launch?
There is no reason for me to move to them fully until they offer these.

My healthy living like from dischem/pick n pay on the app shows me 25% cash back and then when I uploaded my proof of other saving it took me to Gold(well now back to silver). And then it increased my cash back to 25.5% and fuel went from 0% to 0.5% coach back.

I dunno I'm so confused

That's really weird. You say you saw this on the app? Which app - banking or normal?

The changes in money status can bee seen via the app,the cash back I saw on both app and website
