You should open a query with FNB. An interbank EFT should take maximum of 2 business days.

My EFT from Absa to Discovery went through in 24 hours. Same as always.

Have opened a 'missing payments' ticket with FNB. Didn't know this type of thing happens.
I see it fairly often. Most likely it's landed up in some suspense account on either side because the system didn't know what to do with it or lost track of it. The good news is it never goes missing permanently.

Compared to FNB this app is way better and lighter heck it's even better than Capitec because to sign in online you just log in and click accept in app. No need to take a selfie with your face like with Capitec. Just a pity you can't upgrade from this account. Seems like a big missed opportunity.

Yep, FNB app tries to do way too much.

Even their Web design gets worse with every iteration - the people designing clearly don't bank with FNB.

The FNB app is stuffed with bloat. Apparently HR features aimed at staff is also in the same app which adds to the bloat for regular customers.

I had this happen last week too - Nedbank to Discovery took 2.5 days, usually it comes through the same evening of the day I make payment (It did that yesterday)

Does Discovery make a statement about base borrowing interest rates on credit cards? Is it card specific? I was going to downgrade to a silver suite from a black, but I see the interest rate is way higher (before dynamic interest rates) …is this just a new rate due to higher rates these days, or am I more risky …my investec card is prime…discovery new rate quoted is 22% and my old rate, before dynamic discount is somewhere in the middle.

Yeah same for me, and not sure they will beat my rate with investec.
I briefly thought about it but then remembered a new bond means new bond registration fees. I have no desire to burn money like that.

Those were my main issues as well.

They offered me a slightly higher rate than my existing bond (excluding the additional behavioural discounts).

I was interested to see if they'd beat my current rate, but I'm not going to have a bond rate tied to whatever additional products they offer in order to do so. Essentially being tied in for the duration of the bond or being subject to whatever changes they make along the way doesn't seem like a good idea.
