So who is trying out this app?
I have been using it for more than a week now and it's ok but not great. Unfortunately it penalises significantly for speeding (even if it's once out of 10 times), harsh braking and acceleration (over sensitve?, on turbo car).
My biggest issue is the harsh braking part, ie I drive through multiple traffic lights to work and always attempt (checking my rear mirror) to try and stop when a light goes amber. Or yesterday, two guys on one bicycle (just imagine that) skip a four-way stop street without stopping causing me to drop anchor in order to prevent them from crashing into me. AND guess what, the APP nails me everytime for these "unsafe" occurrences? I can understand it would take siginficant development to compensate for these (ie update GIS maps with where robots and stop streets are etc etc), but to me its not encouraging safer driving.
It has made me more aware of my driving style, which I am happy about. But like Pavlov's research, do you think this kind of "encouragement" is good?
