I currently get my chronic meds via medxpress, which is fine because they're fully covered by Discovery and so I don't have to pay in.

I want to now get my other scripts via medxpress as well, but these I'll have to pay for. The Discovery page says something about phoning them to organise payment; I won't have to do that every month, will I?! Because that would get annoying fast. Can I just pay at Clicks when I fetch the meds?

You can pay via credit card, debit order or off your MSA. Don't know if they do collect payment.

*edit* I get my chronic, plus non-chronic ( what they refuse to add ) and my wife's monthly prescription all through med-express, very easy.

If you're collecting at Clicks, why not just give them your scripts directly next time you renew them and let them handle everything? I've never dealt directly with Medxpress.

Your banking details can be stored. If it's a repeat script, you can also reply to the reorder notification or use the app to reorder.

Works great for me, I have to make a copayment.

I get an sms requesting the funds to be deducted from my bank account. I reply yes and the same day the meds are dispatched.

Cool, thanks all - I'll give it a try.

I have to get my chronic meds via medxpress, because Discovery insists. So if I'm getting those, I might as well get the others too - quick pickup, re-ordering via the web/app, and better script tracking are all advantages.

Discovery is quite happy for me to work through Clicks which is a Medxpress pharmacy. I just hand my chronic scripts to them when they are renewed every 6 months. They SMS me when my my meds are ready for collection and the claim goes through with no problems.
