Ok here we go, discussion thread for Vitality in 2022.

My personal activity goal for this year is at least 800 points per week which I currently get on a stationary bike.
I might move to a new house later this year which will naturally see me walk a lot more, so there will be that as well, but for now it's just the bike.

I'll probably go for my health and fitness assessments quite early in the year so I can do seconds should it be needed, maybe February or March already.

I started on Vitality September last year and reached silver, so obviously my first goal for this year is to reach at least gold status.

Booked my health assessment for next weekend. I guess there’s no point in doing the fitness assessment since I usually max my fitness points each year through workouts.

Maybe I should also leave the fitness assessment for now as extra motivation to rather try max those points threw workouts.

Don't even bother with whether you’re on Silver or Gold or Diamond unless you’re about to book plane tickets (discount depends on tier). Rather focus on scoring five out of five for your health checks so you max out the HealthyFood discounts.

I'm hungover today so my heart rate is up and I got 300 points for carrying twelve Powerades around PicknPay in a basket for half an hour.

Anyone know where to find the new Vitality Travel Platform? Been trying to find it but with no luck.

I will be going fitness mad in the first part of the year so I can chill for the rest of the year. Try to do 1200 fitness points a week (3x runs + Park Run or alternatively a few 10kms which will net me 600 points) until the end of April and then taper off a bit in the last part. Still do at least two physical activities for the rest of the year to get the 600 weekly points.

With the exception of last year, I usually get only 4/5 of the health checks but last year got 5/5. Those extra 5k points are a real bonus! I like to get to Bronze before doing the health check.

The vitality benefits really get trimmed each year . The travel hotel benefits are never as good as they made out . The flights yes but now they cut the number .

Are we still limited to only Nike when we want to use our shoe booster?

Yup. Alternatively, get 25% off any HealthyGear shoe at Totalsports or Sportsman's Warehouse.

Anyone got their mental health minutes allocated? I just can't get it to work, I'm using the iPhone and minutes logged from different apps including headspace. Support would manually allocate the minutes before but now they're just giving me copy/paste instructions that don't work.

Also, why do they force you to choose from a crap selection of paid apps? Plum village is free, really good and records mental health minutes to the health app.
