Just checking to see if anyone has tried DishWorld Sports via Roku as it claims to be able to stream live EPL and UCL games...
At $10 p/m this sounds good but I am want to find out if anyone is using it and what your experience has been with it i.e. lag and minimum line speed required?
Could be well worth it if it does work...

I installed the App now on my Roku but it only shows movies now. When I tried to pay for the Sports package I got told I need to contact my bank or to try again so not sure if it is a problem with my credit card. Also you need to register a USA state so I chose New Hampshire (as they don't have sales TAX) but couldn't get it to work. Will try again later.

Just curious if anyone else go it to work?

Have you tried using pay-pal ? A US account with a valid US addres. Acording to Hulu and Netflix i stay at McDonalds store in Miami.

There is no live EPL or UCL on Dishworld sports package. The package comes with 5 sport channels and only 3 of them show football (Bein sport, Bein sport espanol and One World sport). Bein sport has broadcast rights to Serie A, Ligue and La Liga plus a few others so you get live matches from these leagues. One World sport has some club channels (Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern etc) and thus the claim of EPL, UCL and even Bundesliga coverage. In short don't subscribe if you want EPL or UCL live matches, there is none, don't waste your money.

Of the 3 channels, only Bein sport is HD and the only one i consider good and watchable. One World sport and Bein sport espanol are sh%t quality, i will even go as far as saying it is about unwatchable. In fact if you have a US vpn, you can watch One World sport for free at their own website. The quality is much much much better than Dishworld and it is free.
 
Ok...so I bit the bullet and registered for the service and its not too bad!
You have to provide a valid US address...but from there on out...it worked with my FNB Debit card!
No funny business.
I waited until the time of the game tonight (Arsenal vs Chelski - Carling Cup) and streamed it live Bein Sport.
There are occasional buffer pauses but never more than a few seconds and the quality is SD (my line terminates at 6Mb).
So thus far not too shabby...the real test will come over the weekend and next week for the UCL games.

There are no live UCL games on Bein sports, the broadcast rights for US region belongs to Fox sports. Same for EPL, rights belong to NBC sports. Arsenal vs Chelsea was shown live because they have the rights for Capital One Cup and Football League. Bein sports only have La Liga, Seria A and Ligue matches over the weekend, and some of the live matches are on Bein sports espanol which is crap quality(worse than some illegal streams). I don't know where you read that they show EPL and UCL matches.

You should be getting near HD quality for Bein sports. It is definitely better than SD. If your internet line is fast and you are not streaming at the highest bitrate, close the program and restart. For some reason it doesn't stream at the maximum bitrate all the time. I was able to stream at the highest bitrate directly from Bein sports website, so it has to be an issue with Dishworld.
