Hi there,

Is there any way how I can display local weather in my webpage...? Like saying in a small box at the top of the page.

Thanx...

I just want to display JHB and if possible some places where our company have projects / sites... Its for our intranet so I would just like to build in some nice stuff for the users...

I get the weather, exchange rate and Africa news from RSS feeds. On the server I rip the XML apart and then insert the data I need with PHP.

<?php

if ($location == "Johanesburg" && $time == $now)
{
echo ("Its freezing again and will rain again. In the middle of winter!");
}

?>

I won't display weather on my page unless the page is dependant or related to some sort of sport or travel / outdoor related activity

The OP did say that he wants it for their intranet where his company currently has projects/sites, I think it's a nice idea.

Yea, and I said I wouldn't. ;)

I would get worried though, if his employees don't see the outside that much to determine what the weather is like and would need to see it on their intranet page... then there's something wrong...
