I have a bunch of bits and pieces of old computer parts and cases lying around. What is the best way to dispose of these - just dump them in the bin and wait for them to be PikitUp'd?

try donating usable parts instead of just dumping them ...... make a difference where you can :D

Imagine Johnny Clegg rocking up at your door to collect your old pc scraps? :D :D

Post a list of exactly what you have.

Some people might actually value what you have or at the very least be willing to fetch it from you for free...

LOL

Hey, anyone out there disposing of old HP nx7000 / nx7010 lappies and stuff... PM me please. I will take them for free really!!!!

Just could not resist... and live in hope.

Soooo .... what would the following be worth on the recycling market?

AMD AthlonXP 3200+ (barton core)
ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard
2GB Kingston HyperX DDR400
Gigabyte 450W PSU
LG DVD writer (IDE)
NVidia MX440 "video card" ( :D )

Hi again...

I know that Childline is always looking for working PC donations... So, keep them in mind if you are wanting to help out an excellent charitable organisation...
