My Christmas present arrived and yes, it's the District 9 DVD.
First thing I noticed is the typo on the back of the DVD...

You can check yourself...

"means to be the ultimate outsider on HOUR own planet."

Still love my present though! ;)

hail hitler.

Also got the DVD for Xmas... do these guys not go over the description before publishing?

Try making a backup of the DVD - it has loads of CRC errors. Took me a week to get it backed up and even had to do some IFO editing to get the menus working...

Excellent movie still.

Just got mine last night and I also noticed it. This is so embarrasing.

Hmm, didnt even read the back of mine. Got home and put it into the DVD player/recorder and it wouldnt recognise then put it in the XBox and it played.

Sorry for my ignorance but what us IFO editing?

And how would you go about doing that?

On the Blu-Ray disc it is correct as it should be ...

"means to be the ultimate outsider on your own planet."

It's something you don't have to worry about if you have a decent DVD drive, decent ripping software and a clean DVD. :)

There's more than one typo...
So sad. Noticed it on a few other dvd covers as well. Happens usually on the covers with ster-kinekor logos on... don't know if that means anything...
