Divoom speakers - your feedback

Hello,

I want to get a 2.1 speaker system like this for my TV. Can anyone suggest which model I can take that would fit into the TV?

Will it take volume from my tv or will it have its own remote?

Thanks

Good question. I'm thinking the speakers will work off their own volume, not influenced by the TV's volume.

Check out my ad. :D

AFAIK all audio out on tvs are variable audio. i.e volume adjusted on TV remote. I will check this over the weekend.

It isn't like this on my Samsung LCD TV (3 Series I think). My audio out level is completely separate from the TV volume. I mute the TV and then use my old Creative 2.1 set when I want some bass, but then I have to get down and set the volume manually for it. Also, there seems to be a small but perceptible delay between audio coming from TV speakers vs audio coming from external speakers for my TV, creating an annoying echo-type effect if they are both used.

That actually makes sense. Audio out is assumed to go the amplified speakers . Thats the setup in my tv room now that I think about it. From TV to receiver I can control volume on receiver , with TV on mute. From decoder to receiver its variable using dstv volume.
But if you use earphones jack on TV you can control with TV volume . Since its assumed that not all earphones have volume controls.
