I have a tracking business, I recieve emails from tracking units inside the vehicles which relates to where they move.
Unfortunately the Emails sometimes happen to come through 2twice or 3times as they enter an area. I am hoping there could be a way of filtering a series of emails so that I can forward only one version to my clients. Without having to spam their mail box.
I doubt that this would be so easy. So my second alternative would be to set up an application on my pc that reads the emails and sends an sms on my behalf to the Client's cellphone. Which would be great. As I can customize the message so that it's easily legible. And I can set up some intelligent filtering mechanisms. So that I don't send him repeated sms messages.
But since I am no programmer, how do you think would be the best way of a Novice Vb.Net programmer can go about trying to implement this?
