DIY streaming bundle for R1,000 per month

Ah okay, though Disney would've been about R1390 if you got a yearly subscription last year. You're also on the lowest Netflix plan which is only 720p.

No issue with 720p stream - provided - it is 50FPS, and of good quality. That my Shield TV Pro can do a very good upscale of, on my 1080p Samsung TV.

More often than not DSTV does not cut the grade.

But PAL TV signal isn't 50fps it's 25fps, so it sounds like your TV can't support that mode.

You get 1 stream and 1 mobile stream plus Showmax is also free

Yeah I just personally discount the mobile stream as it is entirely worthless to me, I don't think I've ever streamed anything on my mobile in that fashion, hell I very rarely even watch Youtube videos on mobile.

But 2 streams from the same IP would be entirely worth it to me, since I could watch sport and the missus could stream something else from DSTV at the same time if she wanted to.

I've never actually tested if those streams are live or both catchup and live. Cause initially it was only for live streams. Also technically your missus could stream on a tablet ;-)

Disney+ is the only major international streaming service a subscriber would have to exclude from the bundle to avoid exceeding R1,000 by more than 10%.
If you excluded DStv you’d save almost 70%. Now that’s a bargain.

Since we're taking DIY:
Take the R699 and subscribe to a nice uncapped service and stream DStv, or download it's shows, from those "sharing" it...
